Never shared with any assistant: your password, two-factor codes, or bank login — Hunch doesn't hold your bank credentials to begin with.
Granting the household permission lets your assistant read everything your household shares with you — which includes your partner's shared accounts, balances and transactions, not just your own. They have not been asked for permission. That is why the consent screen's default action is "Share only my data", and why every other member of your household is emailed when a household-wide connection is granted.

Access tokens are issued only for Hunch's own endpoint and expire in minutes, so a leaked one is useless elsewhere and useless soon. Nothing is stored in plaintext.
Revoke from Settings → Security → Connected apps and the connection stops working — access ends within about a minute.
Connecting sends your financial data to the assistant you chose — that is what lets it answer. The figures leave Hunch and land with that provider, under their privacy terms rather than ours, and it is your call whether that trade is worth it. If you would rather your numbers never left, use Hunch's own built-in assistant instead: it runs inside Hunch, on the data you allow.
The connection costs nothing on any plan, including Free. What differs is history: an assistant can read exactly as far back as your plan does — the same window the app shows you.
Every answer carries the window it was based on, so a Free connection tells you it cannot compare this year with three years ago rather than narrating a trend it never saw.

No. This release is read-only and there are no write permissions to grant. A connected assistant cannot move money, pay a bill, edit a budget, recategorize a transaction, or delete anything — it can only read the categories you approved.
Only the categories you approve: accounts and balances, transactions, investments, budgets and goals. Your Hunch password, two-factor secrets and bank credentials are never shared, and Hunch never holds your bank login. What you do approve is genuinely sent to the assistant's provider when you ask a question — that is how it answers.
Any time, from Settings → Security → Connected apps in Hunch. Revoking ends the connection and access stops within about a minute. You do not need to change anything on the assistant's side first.
No — connecting is free on every plan, including Free. The only thing your plan affects is how far back the assistant can read.

Yes — once you connect a bank account to Hunch, any AI assistant you've added as a connector (Claude, ChatGPT, or another MCP-compatible one) can read its balances and transactions. It can't see anything you haven't connected, and it can't move money.
