What cookies and similar technologies Hunch uses, what each is for, and how to change your choice — anytime, not just on your first visit.
This policy describes the cookies, page beacons, and similar technologies used across hunch.money and the Hunch web app at app.hunch.money. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which covers your personal information more broadly.
We group every cookie and script into one of three categories. Necessary is always on — it is what keeps you signed in and remembers this choice. Analytics and Ads are optional, and off by default if you are visiting from the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, or Quebec.

If you are visiting from one of these regions, ad consent is handled by a separate, Google-certified consent dialog integrated with the IAB’s Transparency and Consent Framework, rather than the toggle on this page — a regulatory requirement for AdSense in those regions specifically. You can reopen that dialog at any time from the “Manage ad consent” link in our cookie preferences panel.
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal: if it is set, we treat analytics and ad cookies as declined by default, the same as an explicit opt-out, everywhere GPC applies.
Use the “Manage cookie preferences” button above, the link in the site footer, or the equivalent setting inside the Hunch web app, at any time — there is no need to clear your browser or wait for a new visit.
