Yes — Questrade connects to Hunch through Plaid. Here's exactly what syncs, how to export your history, and how your assistant fits in.
Checked against Plaid's live catalog on July 30, 2026.
Yes. Questrade's Plaid connection was verified on July 30, 2026. It syncs the account types checked below:
Questrade uses Plaid's in-form flow — you sign in inside Plaid's widget, which never shares your credentials with Hunch.
Questrade is a brokerage, so Hunch connects its investment accounts. Questrade's new Questbank banking product isn't part of that connection yet.
| Account type | Syncs to Hunch |
|---|---|
| Transactions | No |
| Account balances | No |
| Credit card & loan balances | No |

Sign in to Questrade's online banking and look for a Statements, Export, or Download section — most banks let you download a CSV or PDF of recent transactions. Import that file into Hunch and it's categorized the same way as a live Plaid connection — your assistant can read it exactly the same way too.
How CSV import works →Questrade has operated as a Canadian discount brokerage since 1999. It has received federal approval to launch a bank, Questbank, with further details expected through 2026 — for now, Hunch connects Questrade's brokerage and investment accounts only.
Once Questrade is in Hunch, connecting an AI assistant is one extra step — add Hunch as a connector to any MCP-compatible assistant, and it can read balances, transactions, and spending trends. Still read-only, still revocable.
Two have a full, tested walkthrough today:
The connector is read-only by design — this doesn't change bank to bank.
How much Questrade history your assistant can read depends on your Hunch plan, not on Questrade itself.

No. Questrade sign-in happens through Plaid — either a redirect to Questrade's own site or a form inside Plaid's widget — and Hunch only ever receives a read-only data token. Your assistant never sees a password, and neither does Hunch.
No. The Hunch connector is read-only. It can't initiate a transfer, pay a bill, or change anything in your Questrade account — the most it can do is describe what it sees.
That's set by your Hunch plan's history window, not by Questrade. Check the plans page for the exact number of months on each tier.
Not from this specific Questrade connection — see the sync table above for exactly what's included today.
Yes — both investment transactions and full holdings sync from Questrade.
Search by the exact name shown on this page — some banks list several entries in Plaid for different products. If it still doesn't appear, import a CSV statement instead and let us know which bank you'd like added.

Yes — that's the main use case. Ask things like "what did I spend on groceries last month" or "am I over budget" and it reads live from Hunch.
Yes. ChatGPT is one of two assistants with a full walkthrough on this site — Claude is the other — but Hunch's connector is built on MCP, the open standard, so it works with any compatible assistant.
