Yes. Chime's Plaid connection was verified on July 30, 2026. It syncs the account types checked below:
Chime uses Plaid's redirect flow — you sign in on Chime's own site, not inside Hunch or Plaid.

Sign in to Chime's online banking and look for a Statements, Export, or Download section — most banks let you download a CSV or PDF of recent transactions. Import that file into Hunch and it's categorized the same way as a live Plaid connection — your assistant can read it exactly the same way too.
How CSV import works →Chime is a financial technology company, not a bank itself — deposit accounts are actually held at partner banks Bancorp Bank or Stride Bank, both FDIC members. That distinction doesn't affect syncing: Chime is its own Plaid institution.
Once Chime is in Hunch, connecting an AI assistant is one extra step — add Hunch as a connector to any MCP-compatible assistant, and it can read balances, transactions, and spending trends. Still read-only, still revocable.
Two have a full, tested walkthrough today:
The connector is read-only by design — this doesn't change bank to bank.
How much Chime history your assistant can read depends on your Hunch plan, not on Chime itself.
See plans →If you and a partner both link accounts to Hunch, you choose whether your assistant sees combined household data or just your own Chime accounts.

Chime is a trademark of its respective owner. Hunch is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Chime — this page exists to document how Hunch's Plaid-based connection to Chime works.
No. Chime sign-in happens through Plaid — either a redirect to Chime's own site or a form inside Plaid's widget — and Hunch only ever receives a read-only data token. Your assistant never sees a password, and neither does Hunch.
No. The Hunch connector is read-only. It can't initiate a transfer, pay a bill, or change anything in your Chime account — the most it can do is describe what it sees.
That's set by your Hunch plan's history window, not by Chime. Check the plans page for the exact number of months on each tier.
